TA arrived!

Today we heard the great news that our Travel Approval arrived!  As good as that was to hear, it was followed by some potential bad news.  For whatever reason, we thought we would get to leave for China on the 23rd of May, with a slight possibility of leaving on the 30th.  Today we found out that the 23rd is not an option and the 30th is only a possibility. If we don't get to leave on the 30th, our next available travel date will be June 13th.  From what we learned, there is a Chinese holiday the first of June that will prevent adoption appointments from taking place.  We looked online and are guessing that this holiday is the Dragon Boat Festival Holiday which runs from June 10-12.  If we were to leave on the 30th, our Consulate appointment would be on Wednesday the 12th of June, and that is not an option with this national holiday celebration. We should hear tomorrow what date we have confirmed for our Consulate appointment and will then make travel plans around that appointment.  Please join us in praying for a departure date of May 30th or earlier!
