Time to Prepare!

This weekend we did a little bit of preparing for Baby Girl's arrival!  The girls have been begging to get her clothes ready and shop for her, but I haven't found the time to sit and do it until now!   All of my baby girl items have long been given to my sister, sold or donated through the years, so we had absolutely nothing in the house for a baby girl except our baby crib, car seat and umbrella stroller.  My sister was super sweet to bring us all of her baby girl clothes from 12 months to 3T along with a few baby toys to get us started preparing for a baby girl in the house! After 3 boys, the girls and I are ecstatic to see some little pink clothes in the mix!

I also sat and read some travel blogs this weekend to get mentally prepared for packing for our 2 week trip! So far, the best list I have found is posted on Red Thread to Tennessee.  I would love to take only carry on luggage with backpacks, but reading this list, I don't know that we can do it! I think we could fill a whole suitcase just on food for our picky eaters (me included!)! 

I have had several of our sweet friends ask what items we will need for baby girl.  Taking this weekend to sift through clothes and read blogs has helped me have a better understanding of the items that we have left to purchase.  Below is my list of items that I am look for at garage sales, Target and Costco - hoping to find them on the cheap.  Please feel free to give me a call if you see something while you are out!!! And, I'm sure I will think of more, but this is my quick brainstorm for now!
