Final Steps to China!

So many of you have been so sweet to ask us what's going on with our adoption process! There are so many steps to take before we leave for China that we often get confused with what comes next!  Here is an estimated time frame of the final steps this side of China!

1. I-800 approval arrived last Friday (March 22)

2. Waiting on NVC letter from State Department - 1-2 weeks after approval received
*This letter states that the Visa Center in US has received our I-800 approval and has sent our petition to adopt Baby Girl on to China's Visa Center
                            ****ARRIVED!!  April 5, 2013****

3. Receive Article 5 from US Consulate in China - approx. 10 days after NVC letter arrives
                            ****ARRIVED!! April 23, 2013****

4. Receive TA (Travel Approval) - 2-4 weeks after Article 5 issued

5. Travel to China! - 2-4 weeks after TA arrives

We also received an updated medical report and new pictures of Baby Girl! Everything in the medical looked great and she looks very healthy and happy! I think my favorite part of her medical report was the description of her personality!  They say she is an extrovert who loves to laugh, play and give hugs to her care givers! We can't wait to get her home and give her hugs from her new family!

If you think about it, please join us in praying for the following:

1. That God would begin preparing her heart for attachment to our family.

2. That God would prepare our hearts and home for her arrival.  Mama needs some major organizing time!

3. For God to protect her health, mind and body while she waits for us.

4. For her physical needs to be met.

5. For someone to sing to her and tell her about Jesus even now.

6. For God to go before us in every little detail before, during and after travel.
