Whew! I feel like we are in the final stages of all of our paperwork! We had our last home study visit last Tuesday and just received our home study draft today. I am glad to say that we passed, but not without a few good laughs during the kids' visit with the social worker! Oh, the stories kids tell!!
During this visit, we also talked with our social worker about what special needs we are considering. It was hard, like everyone said it is; but, we had completed a lot of research and felt good about what we knew we would consider, what was a maybe and what medical needs were off our radar. I feel like we have to explain our reasons why we are open to some needs and not others, but in the end, I believe it is the Lord who is directing our hearts and we trust him completely to prepare us for whatever He has planned for our growing family!
So now, we have to get our finalized draft and we can start getting all of our paperwork certified!
